I graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a degree in Finance and Property Management in 1982. If you recall, the US was in the midst of a severe recession in 1982, so after several job offers from Wells Fargo, Crocker Bank etc. (I did not want to work for a bank), I decided to pack up the Chevy Citation and U-Haul with my dog and belongings and head to the only “boom town” left, Houston, TX. I landed a job and began work with a real estate investment / management firm where I supervised the management of approximately 1,500 apartment units. Just over a year later, I returned to Orange County and began working for the firm of Marcus & Millichap in Newport Beach and quickly became a top sales associate, focusing mostly on the sale of larger apartment complexes. After two and a half successful years, I was recruited as Regional Manager for The Hanes Company, Inc., our biggest competitor, and helped move my office of 26 sales associates to one of the top producing investment real estate brokerage offices in Southern California. After approximately three years, I made my way back to where I really wanted to be, Orange County, brokering investment real estate. Around 1990, when the Orange County investment real estate market was hit hard, a client asked if I would sell a large mobile home park for him, which I did, and never looked back. I have been brokering the sale of Manufactured Housing Communities exclusively now for over 20 years. I specialize and am a licensed broker in the states of Oregon, Washington and California and I am also a mobile home park owner.

My approach to this business has always been to put the client first, providing the best possible advice and up to date market data, allowing informed and sound investment decisions. I never pressure sell my clients and will always tell it like it is, even if that means telling the client not to buy or not to sell. I believe that is the reason that most of my business is repeat business.

On a personal note…I have been married to my wonderful wife for over 24 years and have two great kids.  My son is a junior in college studying Biomedical Engineering and my daughter is a senior in high school currently making her plans for college. When not working, I enjoy traveling, fishing, boating and spending time with friends and family.
