I don’t know why park owners keep wasting their money in these cases suing municipalities for their rejt control laws. The park owners have lost these cases, in major federal courts, every single time, like the great Guggenheim vs. Goleta case last year.
(Now that was an extremely ridiculous one. The park owner bought the park, knowing it was covered by rent control. He paid less for the park, than it would have cost him were it not under rent control.
But then he sued the city, saying that they were “taking” from him. Nonsense!
